Foundation Observation: Caissons
Please provide this letter as proof of the following onsite observation on January 20, 2021. Below is a
summary of the observations made:
• Caissons — There were (10) caissons that were observed. The caissons had a diameter of 8" and
were 45" deep. There were 2 ##4 rebar inside each caisson. The diameter and locations of the
holes appeared to be in accordance with the plans.

Approved per plans and red -line notes on plans. Must comply with 2018 IRC, 2020 NEC and all
applicable City of Wheat Ridge Municipal Codes. Work is subject to field inspections.
Owner/Contractor is responsible for locating property lines and constructing improvements
according to the approved plan and required development standards. The City is not
responsible for inaccurate information submitted within the plan set and any construction
errors resulting from inaccurate information.
For one- or two-family dwellings, the first twenty-five feet ( 2 5 ' ) of driveway area from
the existing edge of pavement into the site shall be surfaced with concrete, asphalt, brick
pavers or similar materials. A right-of-way permit may be required; contact Public Works
Department at 303-235-2861.
Landscaping removed or damaged during construction must be replaced prior to final
inspection.

2. This.permit shall expire 365 days after the date of issuance regardless of activity. Requests for extension must be made in writing and
received prior to the date of expiration. An extension of no more than 180, days made be granted at the discretion of the Chief Building
Official and may be subject to a fee equal to one-half of the original permit fee.
3. If this permit expires, a new permit may be required to be obtained. Issuance of a new permit shall be subject to the standard
requirements, fees and��procedures for approval of any new permit. Re -issuance or extension of expired permits is at the sole discretion of
the Chief Building Official and is not guaranteed.
4. No work of any manner shall be performed that shall results in a change of the natural flow of water without prior and specific approval.
5. The permit holder shall notify the Building and Inspection Services Division in accordance with established policy of all requ�ired
inspections and shall not proceed or conceal work without written approval of such work from the Building and Inspection Services
Division.
6. The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, anviolation of any provision of any
pplicab e code or any ordinance or regulation of this jurisdiction. Approval of work is subject to field inspection.

General notes:

approval of the registered design professional in reasonable charge.
2. General notes and typical details are provided as a supplement to the construction documents and apply where specific notes and details
are not available. Specific notes and structural details shall take precedence over general notes and typical details. Structural requirements
shown in the framing plans and in the structural shall take precedence over structural notes indicated in architectural sections.
3. Printed dimensions shall take precedence over scales shown on construction documents. The registered design professional in reasonable

Prefabricated Metal Plate Wood Trusses

Structural Observation
1. The owner shall employ a registered design professional to perform structural observations as defined in 2018 IBC 1702 for those

. Slide the vent sections together and turn 1/4 turn until the sections lock in
place.
. Screws are not required to secure the vent. However, three screws may be
used to secure vent sections together if desired.
. High temperature sealant is recommended at the appliance starter section
connection (use high-temperature silicone or Mill-Pac@).
. If disassembly is required, at time of re-assembly check to see if the vent
creates a tight fit. If it does not, apply high temperature sealant to the joints of
the affected sections.
. Horizontal sections require a 1/4" rise every 12" of travel
. Horizontal sections require non-combustible support every three feet (e.g.: plumbing tape)

Approved Vent Configurations
Restrictor Position
. A vent restrictor is built into the appliance to adjust the flow rate of exhaust gases. This ensures
proper combustion for all vent configurations. Depending upon the vent configuration, you may be
required to adjust the restrictor position. The charts for acceptable vent configurations detail the
correct vent restrictor position.

above the firebox.
To Adjust the Restrictor:
WARNING: Use a glove to protect
your hand from burns.
1 Determine the correct restrictor position (see the charts under
"Approved Vent Configurations" - the factory position is #1).
2 Lift up the adjustment plate and move it so the correct notch
falls into the slot on the adjustment bracket.
