Dear Mr. Jones,
The Department of Public Works has reviewed the building permit
application for the proposed addition to the single family
residence at the above referenced address, and has the following
comments:
1. In accordance with Section 5-45 of the Wheat Ridge City Code,
a Development Covenant will need to be processed. Briefly,
this document stipulates that the homeowner will be
responsible for the cost to construct those public
improvements along the property's frontage for a period of
ten (10) years should the City choose to improve Moore Court
within this period of time. This document is required
in lieu of constructing said public improvements.
The building permit can be issued at this time. However, please
be aware that the Public Works Department can not approve the
Temporary Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Occupancy
until the above referenced document has been processed.
