closing doors and signs that state "HAZARDOUS - KEEP FIRE AWAY" in red

3. Remove the exit sign that will be blocked by the paint booth OR add another sign
on the wall pointing towards the exit.

Plans submitted to AFPD are reviewed for compliance per the fire code as adopted and/or amended and any
applicable State Of Colorado Requirements. The submitted plans are not reviewed to specific individual
project specifications. This report is intended to provide the submitter with the status of plan approval, and
any comments that may require further information,verification or action for approval of plans. All plans may
be subject to field inspection and/or testing for final approval prior to sign off on a Certificate Of Occupancy
or Certificate of Inspection.
The approval of plans constitutes a permit to commence workwhere required by the fire code, and is subject to
the conditions as may be noted in the comment section in the attached plan review report. Response to this
review report as necessary along with the permit fee payment will be required prior to any field inspections.
SIDE Downflo
Spray Booth by AFC
The Custom Aire SIDE Downflo spray booth has been de-
signed by AFC in response to a need for a mid -priced booth
vvith high-end performance. The SIDE Downdo spray booth
eliminates the need for a pit or basement where construction
cf this type is not possible and where a raised Boor cannot
be used due to other limitations such as overhead clearance.
The Custom Aire SIDE Downflo spray booth introduces fresh
filtered air evenly over the ceiling cf the booth above the
vehicle. The air flows smoothly down the sides of the vehicle
and then is drawn away from the vehicle toward the vols
near the floor. It then passes through the exhaust paint ar-
restors in the wells where the overspray is trapped and the
air is then exhausted and dispersed into the atmosphere.
AFC has been producing superior spray booths for over
30 years. AFC carries a complete line of standard booths to
supply any need and budget. In addition to utilizing the lat-
ent in materials and technology, along with computer-aided
design, AFC is able to produce custom booths to meet
any requirement.
For increased thin -put, and also for use with. newer spray
paints and coatings, the Custom Aire SIDE Downno spray
booth is designed to be used with the DFM90OR heat sys-
tem. This system has a proven track record for reliability and
efficiency on AFC spray booths. Higher curing temperatures
required by newer spray tomulations are achieved with a
unique, AFC designed, 100% fresh air superheating system.

No solvent contaminated air is returned to the booth, which
prevents hagng and die -back, virtually eliminating cutting
and buffing.
An optional user-friendly and fully automated control panel
cycles the booth through the entire Flash, (tire, and Cool
cycles without operator intervention. Controls are easily
set to accommodate all types of paints and coatings. Digital
temperature controls combined with two stage burner
modulation assure minimal tempera," fluctuations inside
the spray booth.

The custom afire paint mixing room provides the ideal envi-
ronment for storing, mixing and matching paint. The room is
furnished with color corrected fluorescent lighting fixtures for
ease in color matching of the paints. ?rte room is constructed
from 18 gauge galvanized steel.
The custom afire paint mixing room is available in custom
sizing and configurations. Options include double wells and
