Specifically excluded from the guarantee is any and all damages to said roof, building or contents caused by the acts or omissions of other trades and or contractors. Also any lighten- ing, fire, hail, wind, ice; snow or blowing rain in ventilation caps, skylights, or any other unusual phenomena of the ele- ments including acts of God. Foundation settling; failure or cracking of the said roof deck; defects or failure of materials used as a roof base over which the roof is applied, faulty con- struction of copings, chimneys, skylights, vents, supports or other pans of the building vapor condensation beneath the roof; fire; improper maintenance of said roof. If said roof is dam- aged by reasons of any of the afore mentioned, this guarantee shall be null and void for the balance of the guarantee period unless such damage is repaired by Assured Roofing inc at the expense of the persons requesting repairs. 13.) Prior to roof installation it is the home owners sole respon- sibility to remove any breakable valuables from landscaping, as well as other affected areas. Customer is recommended to re- move items off of mantels and hanging items on the exterior and interior walls to avoid any valuables from falling. Assured roofing also agrees to perform a diligent effort to remove all debris, from project as well as a diligent effort but cannot guar- antee removal of all nails after project completion. 6.)
