STATUS OFCOMPLE770N. Initial feasibility study— obtain measurements and project scope
This project will involve removing an approximate 10'-0 length of interior wall between the kitchen and dining roods..
The existing root structure is framed with field built trusses spaced at 24" o.e. The wall being removed does not appear
to be load bearing. The ceiling joists are not spliced over this wall and the steel beam in the floor framing is not
positioned beneath this wall. A new dropped beam will be framed in place of this wall due to ceiling finish reasons. The
now beam shall be at least (2)-2x8s (Douglas Fir) supported with single 2x4 trimmer studs and single 2x4 king steads
each side.
