Scope of work is to remove 428 sf of ACM popcorn texture from the ceilings of the affected rooms. Containment will be under negative air pressure as to prevent the release of any asbestos fibers outside of the work area. A 3 -stage Decontamination Shower & 2 - stage Waste Loadout will be connected to the containment in the Entry. A Full Containment will be construced with 2 layers of 6 mil poly on the floors, 2 layers of 4 mil poly on the walls, & 1 layer of 4 mil poly on the ceilings (where applicable). For removal, we will use hand tools (5 in 1s, putty knives, 4" razor scrapers, hammers, flat bars, demo bars, razor knives) while keeping the ACM adequately wet with an airless sprayer utilizing surfactant. A passing result on a Final Air Clearance will be obtained before tear down of the containment. We will double bag & gooseneck all waste and use generator labels before transportation & disposal at DADS landfill's Asbestos Waste Section.
