The pen that you signed and received for this property specifically states on the first line that " ice and water shield is required from eave edge to 2 feet inside exterior walls". At the time you obtained this permit the city no longer required mid-roof inspections and at final inspection a wood shake roof cannot be lifted up enough at the eaves to confirm that ice and water shield exists. The process to re-active this pen and commence the repairs needed to correct the problems shall be within the next 10 business days. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
