Existing 2 X 4 roof rafters are inadequate to carry the assigned loading. They must be reinforced by adding new 2 X 8 rafters at 24" centers and 2 X 4 supports as outlined in the information sent to me by Fax 6/11/96. Two new concrete pad supports must be added under the beam at the crawl space area. The pads should be 18" square X at least 10" thick. The split floor joist in the basement area should be removed and replaced. Other parts of the structure are adequate to carry the loads. No additional repairs are necessary at this time.
