General Notes:
- All work shall meet regulations and ordinances of the city, county,
or jurisdiction where work is being performed.
- These construction documents shall not be used or submitted for
any other site location other than the address listed, without
Vivax Pros approval.
- Vivax Pros will obtain all approved building plans and
issued permits prior to the start of construction, and post on-site.
Any work requiring a building permit will not begin until the Building
Permit Inspection Card has been posted along with a statement
allowing the building official to enter the property.
- Each issue or revision of these construction documents shall be
approved by the jurisdiction before being implemented in the field;
unless a permit is not needed for the project. Each approved revision
of the issued permit will be posted on-site for inspection and construction
purposes.
- Vivax Pros and all subcontractors shall meet all applicable building
codes (IBC and IRC) adopted by the city, county, or jurisdiction of the

Effective December 1, 2014, asphalt shingle installations require an approved midroof
inspection, conducted when 25-75 percent of the roof covering is installed, prior to final
approval. Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) is required on the entire roof
when spaced or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Sheathing and
mid -roofs may be called in at the same time, one hundred percent of the sheathing must be
complete and 25-75 percent of the mid -roof may be complete. Asphalt shingles are required
to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. Ice and water shield
is required. Eave and rake metal is required. A ladder extending 3 feet above the roof eave
and secured in place is required to be provided for all roof inspections. Roof ventilation
is required to comply with applicable codes and/or manufacturer installation instructions,
whichever is more stringent. In order to pass a final inspection of elastomeric or similar
type roof coverings, a letter of inspection and approval from the manufacturer technical
representative stating that "the application of the roof at (project address) has been
applied in accordance with the installation instruction for (roof material brand name)
roof covering" is required to be on site at the time of final inspection.
Roof inspections for ROOFS OVER 6/12 PITCH: 3rd party inspection will be required, the 3rd
party inspection report will be collected at final roof inspection performed by City of
Wheat Ridge. If report is not available the final inspection will not be completed.

This application is exclusively for new permits for residential roofs and for licensed
contractors only. This type of permit is ONLY being processed online --do not come
to City Hall to submit an application in person. Permits are processed and issued in
the order they are received and due to the volume of requests, time to process
varies and is subject to change. YOU WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN YOUR
PERMIT IS READY FOR PICK-UP AND WILL BE GIVEN A SPECIFIC DATE

In conjunction with the approval for a building permit at the
specified address, this letter is to inform you that all public
improvements located within the lot frontage of this address
shall be restored to acceptable condition, as determined by the
City of Wheat Ridge Public Works Department, prior to the
issuance of a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy or a Certificate
of Occupancy.
Please note that prior to any construction on the lot an
inspection with the appropriate City representative will need to
be scheduled in order to identify and note any existing damage to

This letter is to advise you of the costs due the City of Wheat
Ridge for work performed on December 7, 1995 to repair the open
trench as a result of the street cut made by Farner Enterprises,
Inc. in West 35th Avenue for the sanitary sewer main installation
in the above referenced project.
This street cut was made by Farner Enterprises in early November.
Along with the standard requirements, the contractor also agreed
to permanently patch the trench as soon as possible after the
sanitary sewer installation was completed. This was to
facilitate changing weather conditions as well as moderate
traffic flow on this street. Several verbal requests were made
by the City's inspector to do this work with the stipulation that
the City may complete the work required.
