Effective December 1, 2014, asphalt shingle installations require an approved midroof
inspection, conducted when 25-75 percent of the roof covering is installed, prior to final
approval. Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) is required on the entire roof
when spaced or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Sheathing and
mid -roofs may be called in at the same time, one hundred percent of the sheathing must be
complete and 25-75 percent of the mid -roof may be complete. Asphalt shingles are required
to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. Ice and water shield
is required. Eave and rake metal is required. A ladder extending 3 feet above the roof eave
and secured in place is required to be provided for all roof inspections. Roof ventilation
is required to comply with applicable codes and/or manufacturer installation instructions,
whichever is more stringent. In order to pass a final inspection of elastomeric or similar
type roof coverings, a letter of inspection and approval from the manufacturer technical
representative stating that "the application of the roof at (project address) has been
applied in accordance with the installation instruction for (roof material brand name)
roof covering" is required to be on site at the time of final inspection.
Roof inspections for ROOFS OVER 6/12 PITCH: 3rd party inspection will be required, the 3rd
party inspection report will be collected at final roof inspection performed by City of
Wheat Ridge. If report is not available the final inspection will not be completed.

Scope of Work: Remove existing damaged roofing materials and re -roof with Owens Corning
Duration shingles.
- Tear off and remove all existing roofing materials (2 Layers).
- If necessary, replace damaged or spaced decking at an additional $2.50 per square foot.
- Install new Joe and Water Shield to all eve locations.
- Install new 30# felt to entire field of roof with approved plastic cap nails.
- Install new 4" Kynar finish perimeter edge metal flashing to entire lower perimeter of roof.
- Install new Owens Coming Duration starter shingles to entire perimeter of roof.
- Install new Owens Coming Duration Lifetime asphalt shingles to entire field of roof.
- Install new vent caps and pipe boot jacks.
- Seal all code required areas with Geocel Professional Roof Sealant.
- Install new valley metal.
- Remove and Re -Install gutters and downspouts per insurance summary.
- Remove damaged siding and replace with new matching siding per insurance summary.
- If color matching is not possible, then we will approach the insurance company on additional funding for siding.
- Clean and paint flashings per insurance summary.
- Remove television antenna and dispose.
- Final clean up of any and all roofing related debris on roof and ground.
- Dispose of all roofing related debris and haul away.
- Sweep perimeter of yard with a magnetic wand.
- Insurance summary price: $9,996.50
- Ice and Water Shield: $498.96 (additional code upgrade supplement to be paid by insurance)
Special Note:
A project manager will be present to monitor and inspect the project during construction. Tarps will protect the perimeter
and shrubbery to prevent any damage. All material is guaranteed to be as specified, and the above work to be performed in
accordance with the SCOPE OF WORK submitted for above mentioned work and completed in a substantial workmanlike
manner for the sum of:
Total Price: $10,495.46
Payments to be made as follows:
50% of contract due at signing, 50% due upon completion.
Upon final payment Colorado Elite Roofing & Solar LLC will provide appropriate warranty.
Any alteration or requested deviation from the above specifications involving extra costs, will be executed only upon written orders, and will
become an extra charge over and above the estimated cost. All insurance supplements to be paid by insurance.
Note:
Lifetime Warranty applies only to products we install (Colorado Elite Roofing & Solar LLC). Damage to building caused by
internal leaks, HVAC systems and any other problem not pertaining to the installation of the new roof system will not be
covered under warranty. Colorado Elite Roofing & Solar will provide all licenses, and supplier information. Customer
acknowledges that this contract is subject to final acceptance by Colorado Elite Roofing & Solar LLC. This proposal maybe
withdrawn by Colorado Elite Roofing & Solar if not accepted within (30) days. if full payment is not made within 10 days
from completion an additional 1.5% will be added to final bill per month. Any legal fees accrued by Colorado Elite Roofing
and Solar for purchasers non-payment will be paid by purchaser.

Effective December 1, 2014, asphalt shingle installations require an approved midroof
inspection, conducted when 25-75 percent of the roof covering is installed, prior to final
approval. Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) is required on the entire roof
when spaced or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Sheathing and
mid -roofs may be called in at the same time, one hundred percent of the sheathing must be
complete and 25-75 percent of the mid -roof may be complete. Asphalt shingles are required
to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. Ice and water shield
is required. Eave and rake metal is required. A ladder extending 3 feet above the roof eave
and secured in place is required to be provided for all roof inspections. Roof ventilation
is required to comply with applicable codes and/or manufacturer installation instructions,
whichever is more stringent. In order to pass a final inspection of elastomeric or similar
type roof coverings, a letter of inspection and approval from the manufacturer technical
representative stating that "the application of the roof at (project address) has been
applied in accordance with the installation instruction for (roof material brand name)
roof covering" is required to be on site at the time of final inspection.
Roof inspections for ROOFS OVER 6/12 PITCH: 3rd party inspection will be required, the 3rd
party inspection report will be collected at final roof inspection performed by City of
Wheat Ridge. If report is not available the final inspection will not be completed.
