Lakewood, C0. 80235 City of Wheat Ridge Department of Planning and Development Code Enforcement Division Wheat Ridge, Colorado May 2, 1994 RE: Screening of Trash Dumpster at 3760 Owens Street In response to your notice dated April 7, 1994 and my subsequent conversations and visit with Mr. Robert Gasper, enclosed is a plan for erecting a Cedar fencing around the dumpster. I have talked to BFI representative as well. Because it is a dead end street, they recommended that the opening should face North side as this will avoid making a U turn, and result in: 1. Less wear and tear of the road 2. Safer environment for the children in the area 3. Easier getting in and out of the area I have seen other dumpster screens in the area designed in the similar manner. Our building location is far more than 100 feet from the main street i.e. 38th Avenue. I believe this plan satisfies the requirements of the city code and will meet your approval. Sincerely, - - B.
