Re: DDN Data Center Implementation Project Changes
Purpose: Upon an internal review of the previously submitted project plans, DDN's evaluation of the project systems, energy
use, and expandability of the systems were determined to be inadequate for long term goals and strategies of the organization.
It was determined that changes to the air cooling and electrical distribution were required.
Changes in design:
• Architecture:
o New design shows the warehouse space split into thirds with the installation of new demising wall.
o New design includes a new floor to ceiling wall to create air plenum for cooling air. (Abandon existing exits
on plan west wall.) Existing distances have been updated appropriately.
o New design includes a new water entry closet.
o New design includes installation of new interior partition in front of abandon roll up doors.
• Mechanical:
o Fluid coolers, all chilled water loops, and CRAC units have been removed from scope
o New design includes for new air handling units in similar location on the rear roof.
o New design includes installing new RTU curbs.
o New design includes installing new volume control dampers on plenum wall to maintain appropriate air
flow.
• Plumbing:
o New design includes for new back flow preventor, new drinking fountains, and new line sets for evaporative
cooling on the Air handling units.
• Electrical:
0 110/208v distribution panels and transformers have been removed from scope that were feeding circuits
above racks.
o New design distribution to racks have been designed to utilize power distribution units above the racks.
• Structural:
o New design has modified structural support for the air handling units.
o New design has added a catwalk to access air handling units.
o New design has added new structural members to support roof deck.

any ACM (Asbestos Containing Materials) Inside the building_ Please confirm with building
owner If ACM is found, an abatement contractor licensed with the State of Colorado will be
required to perform the abatement prior to your demolition _ The City of Wheat Ride requires
that the abatement contractor be licensed with the City and pull a permit with the City In
addition to the State permit prior to any abatement
This will not holdup the plan review, but we will require information on this prior to releasing
the permit.

Dear Mr. Tobler,
This letter is to inform you that the final drainage study,
construction drawings and the erosion control plan for the above
referenced project have been reviewed and approved for
construction. Please be aware of the following items regarding
the construction of the project:
1. The proposed drainage facilities shall be constructed and
approved by the City of Wheat Ridge prior to issuance of the
Temporary Certificate of Occupancy.
2. Erosion control for the project shall be placed in conformance
with the approved drainage/erosion control plan and shall be
maintained as needed during the course of construction.
3. All drainage improvements shall be constructed in conformance
with the approved drainage report and plan.
4. It will be the responsibility of the contractor for the
project to repair any damage to the existing public
improvements on Van Gordon Street as a result of related
construction traffic in the area. Also, the contractor will
be responsible for maintaining Van Gordon Street on a regular
basis such that it is free of construction debris and tracking
from construction traffic accessing the site.
Upon completion of the drainage improvements the engineer,
Contra, Ltd. shall provide to the City of Wheat Ridge a letter
of certification stating that the various imprbvements, as
defined in the drainage report and plan, have been accurately
surveyed to confirm that their construction is in accordance
with these documents. The certification letter shall be
written and stamped by the engineer who prepared the drainage
report, and shall be submitted for review and approval by the
City prior to issuance of the Temporary Certificate of
