5. The permit holder shall notify the Building and Inspection Services Division in accordance with established policy of all requ�ired
inspections and shall not proceed or conceal work without written approval of such work from the Building and Inspection Services
Division.
6. The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, anviolation of any provision of any
applicable code or any ordinance or regulation of this jurisdiction. Approval of work is subject to field inspection.

All direct and indirect lighting sources shall be downcast to reduce glare, sky glow and light pollution.

Internally illuminated, translucent signs should have the typography lighter than the sign background.
Opaque sign faces with internally illuminated individual channel letter with translucent faces are acceptable.
Sign lighting should be consistent with the lighting of building elements and storefront lighting. It is
encouraged that sign faces be darker hue with light colored text to prevent glare emitted at night.

mechanical unit is to be installed. The existing roof structure consists of wood sheathing on 36" deep timber roof
trusses spaced at 24 inches on center. The roof trusses span approximately 34 feet in a north - south direction
and appeared to be in good condition.
We reviewed the new loading on the existing roof structure combined with the dead load and code required snow
(30psf). We determined that the existing roof structure is capable of safety supporting the required loads provid
the unit is located with the center of the unit approximately 10 feet from the end of the roof trusses supported o
2-2x6 flat sleepers that run across 5 roof trusses. See the attached sketch for a graphical representation of the
requirements. i
