All utilities shall be clearly marked and protected from damage by construction equipment. 4. Areas under construction shall have adequate protection in place to safeguard the public. 5. An emergency phone shall be on site and accessible at all times during construction. Either a cell phone of a landline is acceptable. 6. Emergency contact numbers shall be posted on the front door during construction. 7. A Fire Extinguisher with a minimum rating of 2A -40BC shall be within 10 feet of all "HOT WORK" operations. 8. All exit routes shall be clearly defined and posted during construction. Paths of egress shall remain clear of construction material, debris, or other obstacles at all times. 9. I found this odd in that construction had only been going on since January, but looked at the permit and found an erroneous issue date of Nov_ 6, 2009 on it My receipt for paying for the permit is dated January 4, 2010 (copy enclosed). I do not understand how a permit can be "issued" prior to completion of its requirements, and how the 180 days can start months before it was paid for and actually issued, or work can even begin. Based upon the real date of issuance, January 4, 2010,1 am asking for an extension of this permit for another 180 days witty no additional fees to be paid, and the issuance data to be corrected. k you. The purpose of this review was to determine if the proposed storage room, which will be located at the southeast comer of the existing fellowship area, could be founded on a monolithic concrete slab with a turned down edge. From a review of the geotechnical information provided in the remodel plans for additions made to the church in 1981 and the structural plans provided by this office it appears that the addition may be supported on a monolithic slab with a turned down edge; although the members of the church should understand that monolithic slab is more susceptible to seasonal vertical movements than a crawlspace foundation wall. These season movements are typically related to expansion and contraction of the active soils underlying the structure and may be minimized by insuring that surface water is directed away from the structure. We recommend that the monolithic slab be constructed as shown in the attached detail on sheet SK-1. The notes and specifications contained in the original remodel design documentation provided by this office shall apply to recommendations made herein. The 1100 square foot and 250 square foot additions will be done initially and the 1900 square foot addition will be done later as Phase II. Of the 3225 square feet of roof area added by the project, 425 square feet of it will be constructed in areas of existing pavement for a net increase of 2800 square feet of impervious area. Since less than one acre of land will be disturbed by the proposed construction, this project can be classified as a minor redevelopment as defined by the City of Wheat Ridge drainage requirements. As such, only water quality needs to be addressed. Water quality requirements for the project will be met by directing the roof drains to an infiltration trench to be constructed on the site or existing stabilized grassed areas. The trench drain will be 40' x 5' x 3' and be depressed 6 ". The infiltration trench will also provide some water quality for the runoff from the existing parking lot due to its proximity. Slopes from the edge of the rock to the depression are 3:1, except adjacent to the existing parking lot where the slope will be 10:1. Of the 3225 square feet of roof area added by the project, 425 square feet of it will be constructed in areas of existing pavement for a net increase of 2800 square feet of impervious area. Since less than one acre of land will be disturbed by the proposed construction, this project can be classified as a minor redevelopment as defined by the City of Wheat Ridge drainage requirements. As such, only water quality needs to be addressed. Water quality requirements for the project will be met by directing the roof drains to an infiltration trench to be constructed on the site or existing stabilized grassed areas. The trench drain will be 40'x 5' x 3' and be depressed 6 ". The infiltration trench will also provide some water quality for the runoff from the existing parking lot due to its proximity. Slopes from the edge of the rock to the depression are 3:1, except adjacent to the existing parking lot where the slope will be 10:1.
