You explained that staff from yvur off ce w 1] be visiting the site sometime in the next several days. Please advise us if we need to arrange for asbestos surveys as this has been our experienee in other jurisdictions. We do have several qualified fums that we can cali for this if you require it. The woman to whom we submitted our demolition application in your office stated yesterday that an asbestos study would not be required for issuance of demoIition permits. Please clarify this issue for us- we want to be compliant. The demolition contractor that our client is uaiizing for ttus project has inquired about possible asbestos content in siding materials on several of the houses scheduled to be demolished. The s3ding materials on these houses is in fact waod shingles. Please call us with any addiaonal requirements, and let us know by telephone when the pemuts are ready to pick up.
