Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) is required on the entire roof when spaced or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Cancellation procedure: The property owner shall give written notice of rescission of the contract to the contractor at the physical address provided in the contract within seventy-two hours after entering into the contract or (s)he is notified of the insurance denial. The property owner may give notice of rescission of the contract: (i) in an electronic form, which is effective on the date of the electronic transmission; (ii) by mail, which is effective upon deposit in the united states mail, postage prepaid, sent to the physical address stated in the contract; or (iii) by personal delivery to the contractor, which is effective upon delivery. 9. If this contract is cancelled by the customer later than three (3) days from execution, the customer shall pay to Roundtree, Inc. twenty percent (20%) of the contract price as liquidated damages, not as a penalty and Roundtree Inc. agrees to accept such as a reasonable and just compensation for cancellation. 10. In addition to paragraph 10, if material must be reordered or restocked because of a cancellation by the customer, then will be a restocking fee equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the contract price. The Company's Limited Warranty does not cover damage to roofs caused by lighting, gale (50+ MPH), hurricane, tornado, hailstorm, impact of foreign object or other violent storm casualty, or damage to roofs due to settlement, distortion, failure or cracking of the roof deck, walls or foundation of a building. 13. The Company is not responsible for any damage below the roof due to leaks by excessive wind, ice or hail during the period of the warranty. The Company's warranty covers roof only. 14. The company will not be held liable for any structural movement, settling, cracks in dry -wall, cracking or breaking of driveway during the roofing or loading processes, including minor scratching or denting of rain gutters. 15. All pictures, wall hangings, lights, collectables. etc., both indoors and out, MUST be secured by homeowner, Any damage to personal items during installation will not be the responsibility of the Company. The Company will also not be responsible for nail damage to tires. pets, etc. Pets should not be left unattended during installation. (Customer's initials) 16. Any alteration or deviation from specifications involving extra cost will be executed only -upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. 17.
