To Whom it May Concern:
This letter is in regard to the Sanders Wazehouse facility at 10201 West 49`h Avenue. A certificate of
occupancy (C.O.) was issued for the new building on June 21, 2001. At that time, there were materials
being stored in the area of the pazking lot inside the chain link fence at the northwest side of the new
building. I was informed by Sanders personnel on site that these materials were placed outside
temporarily while organizing the wazehouse. Due to the temporary nature of the outside location of the
materials, approval was given by myself for issuance of the C. O. with a comment regarding the
materials in the parking lot being temporary.
A site inspection of the above property on October 1, 2001 has revealed that materials continue to be
stored in the northwest azea of the parking lot. Additionally, there are pallets stacked in the parking
area outside of the chain link fence along the westem property line.
This shall serve as a warning notice that you have 30 days from the date of this letter to remove the
materials from the pazking area or further code action by the City will ensue.

DATE: June 22, 2001
A site inspection for the above property has been conducted to determine compliance with zoning code
requirements in order to issue a certificate of occupancy for the new addition. There are currently
materials being stored in the area of the parking lot inside the chain link fence at the northwest side of
the new building. It appears that this material is placed outside temporarily while organizing the
warehouse. However, if this area is to be changed to become an outside storage area, a re-review of
the site will have to be conducted.

RE: Fire Alarm system located at George Sanders Plumbing, 10210 W 49'" Ave.
The following aze our plan review comments;
1) Audible fire alann signals shall be installed within any building containing a sprinkler
system UFC 97 10033.2 (a). Amended.
2) Sprinkler systems over 100 heads shall be supervised by an approved central, proprietary,
or remote station service , or a local alarm that will give an alarm signal at a constantly
attended station. UFC 97 10033.1.
3) Valve monitoring and water flow alarm and trouble signals shall be distinctly different and
shall be automatically be transmitted to a central, remote or proprietary monitoring
station. UFC 97 1003.3.1.
4) Fire alazm evacuation signals shall be subject to field ivspection, additional units may be
required. LTFC 97 1007.33.3.
5) A satisfactory test of the entire system shall be made in the presence of the Fire Mazshal.
All system functions shall be tested. LTFC 97 10073.4.2.
6) The pernutted shall provide written certification to the Fire Marshal that the system has
been installed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. UFC 97
10073.43.
7) Twenty-four hours notice required for all tests and inspections. UFC 97 103.3.2.2.

RE: Sprmkler system installation for George Sanders, 10210 W 4916 Ave.
The following aze our plan review comments;
1) All hose threads shall be National Standard type. LJFC 97 1003.1.1.
2) Fire department hose connections serving a sprinkler or standpipe shall be locafed an
minimum of 36 inches and a maximum of 48 inches above Snished grade. UFC 97
1003.1.1. Amended.
3) The location of the fire department connection shall be approved by the Fire Marshal.
UFC 97 1003.1.1. Amended.
4) Audible Sre alarm signals shall be installed within any building containing a sprinkler
system. iJFC 97 10033.2 (a). Amended.
5) The location of small hose valves shall be approved by the Fire Mazshal, and not less than
a circumference area of 150' based on 100' of hose with a 50' water distribution pattem.

6) Provide provisions for a labeled inspectors test valve.
7) Twenty-four hours notice prior to all testing and inspections.
