Read do hereby file a formal complaint with the City of Wheat Ridge against the residents of 7190 West 48th Avenue (the Rice residents). For violating setback requirements as stipulated pursuant to the current edition of the Uniform Building Code, as well as the City of Wheat Ridge's own building ordinances. The reason for this complaint is as follows. 1. This containment structure sits on my property line of 7180 West 48th Avenue which is clearly in violation of set back requirements of Uniform Building requirements (most recent edition and the City of Wheat Ride own building requirements). 2. This structure is used for the sole purpose of containing chicken feces. (Also known as manure). This structure is constructed as a permanent structure within 10 to 12 feet of my residence, and on my property line, and I demand it be removed and placed within the required building code requirements. 3. I also constitute this chicken feces structure and its contents as a nuisance and a health hazard, as this structure and its contents has created a bug (fly) infestation outside and inside my home to the point where it has seriously injured our quality of I ife. This is a formal complaint presented to the City of Wheat Ridge Building Department, and any and all of its associated divisions. There is also no known permit that has been issued to these owners of this property to allow the erection, modification, or alteration of this structure at the time of its installation (August 1997). Also if this structure is not a nuisance or heath issue, then why did they not build it next to their own home? Your immediate attention to this matter is appreciated.
