• Bench #11, NE comer of 35~ and Wadsworth - There are no Bench-4-Rent benches at this location
• Bench #13, SW comer of 38`h and High - Benches have graffi[i that needs to be removed, missing rear wood
panel on seat, bolt exposed on seat
• Bench #17, SW comer of 32"d and Wadsworth - Benches have graffiti that needs ro be removed
• Bench #18, NE corner of 32"" and Wadsworth - Paneling on front of bench is tearing off where advertising is
on south bench at [his location • Bench #24, NW comer of 44" and Field - Benches have graffiti that needs to be removed
• Bench #26, NE corner of 44`h and Yarrow - There are no Bench-4-Rent benches at this location

most recent list of these 9 benches you submitted that we have on file (Iune 19, 2003) the following was observed:

RE: Bus bench at the NE corner of 35`h and Wadsworth
Dear Larry:
This letter is in regards to the Bench-4-Rent bus bench that was installed at the northeast corner of
35°' Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard in Wheat Ridge as oFApril 15, 2004. There is a
discrepancy with the placement of the bus benches at this particular location. Another bus bench
company has applied for a bus bench permit for that location and it will need to be removed.
No bus bench permits have been issued as of this date for renewal of existing bus benches, or for

Your list of proposed bus bench locations has been reviewed and there are the following comments:
SE corner of Kipling and 39th Ave - There is no bus stop visible at this comer of the intersection. There is a
bus stop on the NE corner of Kipling and 39~ Avenue, which currently has no benches adjacent to it.
East side of Kipling and 29`" Ave - Not in Wheat Ridge ciry limits
NE comer of Kipling and 26`h Ave - Not in Wheat Ridge city limits
SW comer of Wadsworth and 29°i Ave - Not in Wheat Ridge city limits
NE corner of Harlan and 44`h Ave - Not in Wheat Ridge city limits

however an application for a pernut for a bench at this location was not made at the last deadline for renewal
on Mazch 1, 2004.
~ SE corner of 32"d and Kipling - Not in Wheat Ridge ciTy limits The only locations from this list that applications can be submitted for are numbers six (NW corner of Hazlan and 47"
Ave) and eight (NE comer of Independence and 32"d Ave). An application can be submitted for the bus stop at the NE
comer of Kipling and 39" Avenue, not the SE comer of Kipling and 39`" Avenue due to the fact that there is not a bus
stop at that locarion. Feel free to submit an application for a permit to use these three aforementioned locations for the
placement of bus benches. I have enclosed a copy of the relevant secrion of our Code of Laws for which the application
and placement of bus benches shall conform To.
