TITLE: A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2012
GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL OF A
SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $25,116 FOR THE RENEWAL OF TH E 2012 CONTRACT TO
SUPPORT THE WRTVS COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD
SOFTWARE AND T O PURCHASE THREE ADDITIONAL
LICENSES
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the Channel 8 Community Bulletin
Board as an important communication tool in informing the community about City
programming and services; and
WHEREAS, the use of Public Education Government (PEG) Fees can only be
utilized for equip me nt, softwa re and maintenance needed for operating Channe l 8; a nd
WH EREAS , the Wheat Ridge Charter requires that amendments to the budget
be effected by the City Council adopting a Resolution .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the C i ty Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
A. The City Council authorizes the renewal of the Community Bulletin Board
software support contract and the purchase of three additional licenses
B. T he City Council authorizes the transfer of $25 ,116 from the general fund
undesignated reserves to account number 01-111-700-755 and ame nding
the 2012 fiscal year budget accord in gly .
