TITLE : A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A CONTRACT
WITH THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
(UDFCD ) AND T HE CITY OF ARVADA FOR THE DESIGN, RIGHT-OF-
WAY ACQU ISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE AND
FLOOD CONTROL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE RIDGE ROAD
TRIBUTARY, AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF AN ADD ITIONAL
CONTRIBUTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $700 ,000
WHEREAS , the City Council wishes to construct a portion of the Ridge Road
Tributary; and
WHEREAS, the City has entered into a contract with the Urban Drainage and
Flood Control District and the City of Arvada for the local funding of the Project; and
WHEREAS , the contract must be amended to provide funding for the
co nstruction of the Project;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by t he Whe at R i dge City Council,
t h at:
Section 1. Contract Amendment Approved .
The contract amendment between the City and the Urban Dra i nage and Flood
Control District and the City of Arvada for construction of the Ridge Road Tributary is
hereby approved and the Mayor and City Cle rk are authorized and direct ed to execute
the same .
Section 2 . Effective Date ?lpM.L ~ ~ lo /:L .
This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
