RESOLUTION NO. 01

TITLE:
A RESOLUTION FINDING A PROPOSED
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE WADSWORTH
BOULEVARD CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT AREA IS
IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE WHEAT RIDGE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Urban Renewal Authority is authorized under C.R.S. 31-
25-105 (l)(i) of the Urban Renewal Law to prepare a plan for redevelopment for certain areas of
the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge City Council, upon recommendation of the Wheat Ridge
Urban Renewal Authority, did on April 23, 2001 make a finding of the presence of blight in the
area included in the redevelopment plan; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Urban Renewal Authority held a public meeting for the
purpose of receiving comment on the redevelopment plan; and
WHEREAS, under C.R.S. 31-25-107(2), the redevelopment plan is to be forwarded to
the Planning Commission to determine its conformity with the comprehensive plan for the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Wheat Ridge Planning
Commission as follows:
Section 1. The proposed redevelopment plan for the Wadsworth Boulevard Corridor
Redevelopment Area is in conformance with the Wheat Ridge Comprehensive Plan.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be transmitted to the Wheat Ridge City Council pursuant
to the requirements of CRS. 31-25-107(2).
DONE AND RESOLVED THIS
