HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes WA-99-02CERTIFICATE OF RESOLUTION I, Ann Lazzeri, Secretary to the City of Wheat Ridge Board of Adjustment, do hereby certify that the following Resolution was duly adopted in the City of Wheat Ridge, County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, on the 28th day of January, 1999. CASE NO: WA-99-02 APPLICANT'S NAME: Best Marine Services LOCATION: 12098 West 50th Avenue Upon a motion by Board Member ABBOTT, seconded by Board Member ECHELMEYER, the following resolution was stated: WHEREAS, the applicant was denied permission by an administrative officer; and WHEREAS, Board of Adjustment application Case No. WA-99-02 is an appeal to this Board from the decision of an administrative officer; and WHEREAS, the property has been posted the required fifteen days by law and there were no protests registered against it; and WHEREAS, the relief applied for may be granted without substantially impairing the intent and purpose of the regulations governing the City of Wheat Ridge. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Board of Adjustment Application Case No. WA-99-02 be, and hereby is, approved. TYPE OF VARIANCE: Allow a six-foot chain link fence on the west portion of the front yard property line approximately 130' to provide security and employee protection on the north side of the building. FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: Approval of this request should not be detrimental to the public welfare. 2. Approval of this request will not alter the essential character of the locality as six-foot fences already occur within the front yard setbacks on several adjacent properties. 3. The fence will be see-through chain link thereby not creating an objectionable barrier to line of sight. Board of Adjustment Resolution No. 99-02 Page two (2) WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITION: 1. Storage of any type of material within the designated front yard is prohibited. All equipment being serviced must be removed at the end of every day. VOTE: Yes: ABBOTT, ECHELMEYER, HOWARD, JUNKER, MAURO, THIESSEN, WALKER No: NONE Absent: HOVLAND DISPOSITION: A request to allow a six-foot chain link fence on the west portion of the front yard property line approximately 130' to provide security and employee protection on the north side of the building was approved.
