Re: Planning Commission Vacancies
Date: May 3, 1996
At our May 2nd meeting, the Planning Commission discussed the fact that the two vacancies
on the Planning Commission create problems meeting the required quorum. As an example,
the meeting scheduled for May 16 cannot occur unless you appoint at least one new
member before then, because two Planning Commission members will be out of town.
Additionally, DRCOG and Colorado Chapter of the American Planning Association has a
day-long planning commission training program scheduled for June 15th at the Arvada
Center. It would be great if the two new appointees were on board so they could attend
this.
We are requesting that these vacancies be filled as soon as possible. Thank you for your
cooperation.
