A RESOLUTION REQUESTING CITY COUNCIL TO DECLARE A VACANCY ON
THE WHEAT RIDGE PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Section 2-53(e) of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws provides that members
of the Planning Commission shall automatically cease to be a member of the Commission if
absent from more than twenty-five (25) percent of the meetings during any calendar year; and
WHEREAS, this member of the Planning Commission has not attended seven of the
eight regular meetings held by the Planning Commission in 1999, with one excused absence; and
WHEREAS, this member had indicated previously his intent to resign from the Planning
Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, as follows:
Section 1. The Planning Commission requests that the City Council declare a vacancy on
the Planning Commission from District IV according to the attendance provisions set forth in
Section 2-53(e) of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws.
Section 2. The Planning Commission requests that the vacant position be filled as soon
as possible.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 6th day of May, 1999.
