The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman Davis at 9 00 a.m Liquor
Authority Members present: Dan Wilde, Robert Alldredge (arrived at 9.05 a.m Kent Davis,
Laura Leprino, Rocco Gioso, Judith DiCroce and William Snell Frank Sanzolone was on
vacation Also present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF June 22, 2000
Motion by Mr Wilde for approval of the Minutes of June 22, 2000; seconded by Mr Snell;
carried 6-0.
Item 1. Application for a Special Events Permit from St. Martin Society #134, Polish
National Alliance, 11460 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO
Item 1 was introduced by Mrs. Jones Applicant, John Fedorowicz, was present and
answered the Authority's questions.
Motion by Mrs. Leprino for the approval of the Special Events permit for St. Martin Society
#134,11460 W 44th Ave , to dispense Fermented Malt Beverage (3.2% beer) on August 20,
2000 from 12 00 p m to 8 00 p m , seconded by Mr Gioso, carried 7-0
Item 2. Application for a Special Events Permit from the Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival
Committee, Inc , to be held at Anderson Park, 44th & Field Street, Wheat Ridge
Item 2. was introduced by Mrs Jones. Applicant, Rae Jean Behm, was present and answered
the Authority's questions
Motion by Mrs. DiCroce for the approval of the Special Events permit for the Wheat Ridge
Carnation Festival Committee Inc., for the dispensing of Fermented Malt Beverage (3.2%
beer) at Anderson Park, 44th and Field Street, on August 18, 2000 from 4 00 p m. to 11 00
p m., August 19, 2000 from 12.00 p m. to 12 00 a m and on August 20, 2000 from 12 00 p m.
to 6 00 p m , seconded by Mr Alldredge, carried 7-0

Item 3 Application for a Special Events Permit from Saints Peter and Paul Catholic
Church, 3900 Pierce Street, Wheat Ridge
Item 3 was introduced by Mrs Jones Applicant, Richard Bender, was present and answered
the Authority's questions
Motion by Mr Wilde for the approval of the Special Events permit for Saints Peter and Paul
Catholic Church for the dispensing of Malt, Vinous and Spirituous Liquor at Saints Peter and
Paul Catholic Church, 3900 Pierce St., Wheat Ridge, CO on September 16, 2000 from 4 00
p m. to 11.00 p m , seconded by Mrs Leprino, carried 7-0
Item 4 Application for a new Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License for "TV Cuisine, Inc.",
4980 Kipling Street, Unit #12, Wheat Ridge (1-mile radius only)
Mrs Jones introduced Item 4 and proceeded to outline the previous liquor license information
regarding this location
Motion by Mr Alldredge to waive the survey for "TV Cuisine Inc.", 4980 Kipling Street, Wheat
Ridge, Colorado, because this location has held a liquor license before, is situated in a
shopping center, and has a Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License next door at Luke's. The
needs and the desires of the neighborhood have already been established Mr Allredge
further moved to hold a public hearing on this application on August 24, 2000, and order the
property be posted and the public hearing be published in the Wheat Ridge Transcript;
seconded by Mrs. Leprino, carried 7-0
Item 5 Modification of Premises for "Holly West", 3490 Youngfield Street, Wheat Ridge
Item 5 was introduced by Mrs Jones Manager, Bill Bastien, was present and answered the
Authority's questions regarding the modification of the patio addition
Motion by Mr Alldredge to approve the modification of premises for CAPA, Inc., d b a " Holly
West", Wheat Ridge, Colorado, seconded by Mr Gioso, carried 7-0
Authority reached a consensus to have staff look into what other cities are doing regarding
interpreters for Liquor Applicants
