The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman Davis at 9 00 a m Liquor
Authority Members present: Dan Wilde, Robert Alldredge, Kent Davis, Judith DiCroce and
Frank Sanzalone. Rocco Gioso, Laura Leprino and William Snell were absent. Also present:
Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF August 24, 2000
Motion by Mr Wilde for the approval of the Minutes of August 24, 2000, seconded by Mrs.
DiCroce, carried 4-0 with Mr Alldredge abstaining
Item 1. Transfer of Ownership from Taj Mahal, 3244-G Youngfield Street, Wheat Ridge,
to Cooks Concepts, LLC , dba Abrusci's Italian Ristorante
Item 1 was introduced by Christa Jones, who presented the staff report.
Applicant Steven Progar, was present and asked for approval of the application
Motion by Mr Alldredge to approve the Transfer of Ownership from Taj Mahal IV, Inc., dba
"Taj Mahal Cuisine of India", 3244-G Youngfield Street, to Cooks Concept LLC, dba "Abrusci's
Italian Ristorante" for the following reasons
1 All applications and fees required by statute have been filed and paid,
2 The applicants are entitled to occupancy of the premises by virtue of a signed lease
dated August 30, 2000
3 The applicants have been cleared by the Police Department.,
seconded by Mr Sanzalone, carried 5-0
Item 2. Motion to set Liquor Hearing for alleged Liquor Violation at Phillips 66 Station,
9995 West 44`h Avenue
Item 2 was introduced by Christa Jones, who presented the Notice of Alleged Liquor Code

Motion by Mrs DiCroce to order a Show Cause Hearing for Phillips 66 Station, 9995 West 44th
Avenue, Wheat Ridge, regarding an alleged violation of Section 12-47-901 (1) (a) of the
Colorado Liquor Code, and to hold the hearing on Thursday, October 26, 2000 at 9.00 a m. I
further move that the City Attorney be directed to prepare the necessary paperwork for a show
cause hearing and that the Chief of Police be directed to provide background material on any
past liquor violations at this establishment; seconded by Mr Wilde, carried 5-0
Item 3. Motion to set Liquor Hearing for alleged Liquor Violation at Water Hole #2, 4990
Ward Road, Wheat Ridge
Item 3 was introduced by Christa Jones, who presented the Notice of Alleged Liquor Code
Violation
Motion by Mrs. DiCroce to order a Show Cause Hearing for Water Hole #2, 4990 Ward Road,
Wheat Ridge, regarding an alleged violation of Section 11-54 (1) of the Wheat Ridge Municipal
Code, and to hold the hearing on Thursday, October 26, 2000 at 9 00 a.m I further move that
the City Attorney be directed to prepare the necessary paperwork for a show cause hearing
and that the Chief of Police be directed to provide background material on any past liquor
violations at this establishment; seconded by Mr Alldredge, carried 5-0

The Liquor Authority asked Christa Jones to obtain a written opinion from the Attorney
regarding the "Card them every time" newspaper article
Motion by Mr Sanzalone to adjourn, seconded by Mr Wilde, carried 5-0
Meeting adjourned at 9:28 a.m
