The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chair DiCroce at 9 00 am Liquor
Authority Members present: Judith DiCroce, Karen Berry, John Miks, Frank Sanzalone and
Robert Alldredge Kent Davis and William Snell were on vacation William Peterson was ill
Also present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF June 14, 2001
Motion by Mr Miks for the approval of the Minutes of June 14, 2001, seconded by Mrs Berry;
carried 4-0 with Mr Alldredge abstaining
Item 1. Application for a Special Events Permit from Sts Peter and Paul Catholic
Church
Motion by Mr Alldredge for approval of the Special Events permit for Saints Peter and Paul
Catholic Church for the dispensing of malt, vinous and spirituous liquor on September 15,
2001 at the Church, 3900 Pierce St., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, from 4 00 p m to 11 00 p m ,
seconded by Mrs Berry; carried 5-0
Item 2. Application for a Special Events Permit from Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival
Committee
Motion by Mr Miks for approval of the Special Events permit for the Wheat Ridge Carnation
Festival Committee, Inc. for the dispensing of fermented malt beverage (3.2% beer) during the
Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival on August 17, 2001 from 4 00 p m to 11 00 p m , August 18,
2001 from 12 00 p m to 11 00 p m , and August 19, 2001 from 12 00 p m to 5 00 p m ,
seconded by Mr Sanzalone, carried 5-0
Item 3 Request from St. Martin's Society to change the date of their Special Events
Permit from August 19 to August 26, 2001
Motion by Mr Sanzalone to change the date of their Special Events permit from August 19 to
August 26, 2001, seconded by Mr Miks, carried 5-0
Motion by Mr Sanzalone to adjourn, seconded by Mr Alldredge, carried 5-0
