October 13. 2005
Chairman Alldredge called the Liquor Authority Meeting of October 13, 2005
to order at 9 00 a.m Liquor Authority Members present: Robert Alldredge,
David Berry, Anthony Davia, Kent Davis, Judith DiCroce, Brenda Locricchio,
John Miks, and Frank Sanzalone Also present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa
Jones, Police Sergeant, Paula Balafas
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF September 22, 2005
Motion by Mr Davis for the approval of the Minutes of September 22, 2005,
seconded by Mr Sanzalone, carried 7-0 with Mr Miks abstaining
Item 1. Application for Transfer of Ownership for Village Liquors, 5305
West 38th Avenue, Unit D, Wheat Ridge, Colorado
Christa Jones presented the staff report. Sgt. Balafas spoke to the clean
background reports
Applicants G. Yohannes Tesfahunegn and Yohannes T. Gebresilassie were
present and answered questions
Motion by Ms Locricchio to approve the Transfer of Ownership from Pauline M
Johnston , d b a Village Liquors, to G & Y Corporation, d b a. Village Liquors,
5305 W 38th Ave , Unit D, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, for the following reasons
1 All applications and fees required by statute have been filed and paid
2 The applicant will be entitled to occupancy of the premises by virtue of a
signed lease assignment dated September 30, 2005
3 The applicants have been cleared by the Police Department.
I further move to authorize the Chair and Deputy City Clerk to sign a temporary
license for this transfer of ownership
Seconded by Mr Miks, carried 8-0
