The Liquor Authority Meeting of December 14, 2006 was called to order by Chair
Tony Davia at 9:00 a.m. Liquor Authority Members present: Carolyn Peterson,
Robert Alldredge, Frank Sanzalone, Kent Davis, John Miks, and Judith DiCroce.
Mr. Berry was absent. Also present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones; staff;
interested citizens.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF October 26, 2006
Motion by Mr. Davis for approval of the Minutes of October 26, 2006; seconded
by Mr. Alldredge; carried 7-0.
Item 1. Public Hearing on application for a new Hotel & Restaurant Liquor
License for Paramount Bowl, Inc., d.b.a. "Paramount Bowl", 2625
Kipling Street, Wheat Ridge.
Christa Jones presented the staff report.
Applicants Barbara and Rockford Richards were present to answer questions.
Motion by Mr. Miks to approve the application for a new Hotel & Restaurant
Liquor License for Paramount Bowl, Inc., d.b.a. "Paramount Bowl", 2625 Kipling
Street, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, for the following reasons:
(1) All applications and fees required by statute have been filed and paid.
(2) Notice of hearing and posting of the premises have been accomplished
according to statutory requirements.
(3) The applicants are entitled to occupancy of the premises by virtue of a
signed lease, dated October 1, 2006.
(4) Both of the applicants have been cleared by the CBI and the Wheat
Ridge Police.
The evidence adduced at the Public Hearing on December 14, 2006 established
that there was no opposition to issuance of this license;
seconded by Mr. Alldredge; carried 7-0.
