June 28, 2007
The Liquor Authority Meeting of June 27, 2007 was called to order by Chairman
Berry at 9:00 a.m. Liquor Authority Members present: Robert Alldredge;
Anthony Davia; David Berry; Kent Davis; Judith DiCroce; John Miks; Carolyn
Peterson. Frank Sanzalone was absent. Also present: Deputy City Clerk,
Christa Jones.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF June 14. 2007
Motion by Mrs. DiCroce for approval of the Minutes of June 14, 2007; seconded
by Mr. Miks; carried 5-0 with Ms. Peterson and Mr. Davis abstaining.
Item 1. Transfer of Ownership - 4300 Wadsworth, LLC, 4300 Wadsworth
Blvd., Wheat Ridge (formerly Gemini).
Christa Jones presented the staff report.
Adam Stapen, attorney with Dill and Dill, and Sanford Feld, applicant, were
present. They explained that this transfer is taking place because the previous
owner has left the business and they want to keep the license intact. Mr. Feld
has no intention of actually operating the business. They anticipate another
transfer of ownership sometime in the future after a tenant has been found. Mr.
Stapen agreed to the proposed condition that the license will be surrendered if
the CBI and Police reports contain unfavorable information regarding the
applicant.
Motion by Mr. Alldredge to approve the Transfer of Ownership from Dutton's
Drive Inns, Inc., d.b.a. Gemini Restaurant, 4300 Wadsworth Blvd., Wheat Ridge,
to 4300 Wadsworth, LLC for the following reasons:
1. All applications and fees required by statute have been filed and paid.
2. The applicant will be entitled to occupancy of the premises by virtue of a
signed lease dated April 13, 2007.
With the following condition:
If the CBI and Police reports contain unfavorable information regarding the
applicant, the Authority can rehear this matter and may ask for immediate
surrender of the license.
Seconded by Mr. Davis; carried 7-0.

Item 2. Set public hearing date for new application for a Tavern Liquor
License for Parker Services, LLC., d.b.a. "Spitfire Lounge", 12100
West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge (formerly 44 Club).
Christa Jones presented the staff report.
Motion by Mr. Davia to waive the survey to establish the needs and desires of the
neighborhood within the area of 12100 West 44th Avenue, in the City of Wheat
Ridge, because the premises were licensed until March 7, 2008.
1 further move to set a public hearing date for Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 9:00
a.m. and order the property posted and the public hearing published in the
Wheat Ride Transcript.
Seconded by Mr. Miks; carried 7-0.
Item 3. Acceptance of Findings and Order on Show Cause hearing for
Stan's Caravan, 11221 West 40 Avenue, Wheat Ridge.
Christa Jones presented the staff report.
Motion by Mr. Davis for the Acceptance of Findings and Order on Show Cause
hearing for Stan's Caravan, 11221 West 44th Avenue, Wheat
Ridge; seconded by Mr. Alldredge; carried 7-0.
