15. If material has to be reordered or restocked because of cancellation by customer, there will be a restocking fee equal to twenty percent (20%) of the contract price.
16. Replacement or repair of any deteriorated decking not covered by insurance, or expressly agreed to in writing beforehand, shall be charged at $225.00 per square. Fascia boards, furnace or
hvac work, swamp coolers, ventilators, chimneys, counter flashing, or any other work completed for client not stated in this contract are not included and will be charged above contract terms

17. 1" Priority Roofing, LLC is not a licensed engineer and recommends that customer consults a licensed engineer in cases where additional items not already pre-existing (such as roofing vents,
skylights, or specialty roof covers including but not limited to TPO, cement shingles, etc,) are installed, or in cases where the structure of the existing building may not be up to current city code
(including framing, truss structure, etc). Customer assumes all responsibility for these items and shall hold 1" Priority Roofing harmless in the event of any controversy arising thereof.
18. The Insurance Company Adjuster Summary (and all revisions) is a legal part of this contract. Customer agrees to allow 1" Priority Roofing to discuss all aspects of the claim with customer's
Insurance Company (including additional revisions and monetary values of the claim) and Mortgage Company. Customer agrees to secure a copy of all revisions of the Adjuster Summary related

be undertaken. Mediation costs shall be paid for at the sole expense of customer. If mediation is unsuccessful, 1" Priority Roofing may require that the controversy be resolved by binding
arbitration with a single arbitrator, chosen by 1" Priority Roofing. Arbitration fees shall be paid at the sole expense of customer.
20. For any work or workmanship that allegedly or rightfully requires remedy (per city ordinance or customer request), customer agrees to allow 1" Priority Roofing and any of its agents or
subcontractors full access to the property in order to complete such remedies. Any remedy shall be completed at the sole discretion of 1" Priority Roofing executive management (if at all), and
done per 1" Priority Roofing's own timetable and construction practices and materials. Customer agrees to a schedule of remedy chosen by 1" Priority Roofing, should 1" Priority Roofing deem
a remedy necessary. Should the customer decline to allow 1" Priority Roofing or its chosen agents to remedy its own work or workmanship, or decline (or delay) the schedule outlined by 1"
Priority Roofing, all outstanding balances and applicable attorney or collection fees shall become due in full immediately without penalty to 1" Priority Roofing and any or all remedy work shall
be constituted as fulfilled by 1" Priority Roofing, furthermore, customer agrees to (at their own expense) work with the city to complete repairs required to close outstanding permits.

Good morning Jon,
Our office is in the process of reviewing the plans for 3119 Ames St., Plan #201600934, and there are a couple of review
comments to be addressed prior to moving forward with the approval of the project.
• Plumbing and gas plans for kitchen and bathroom..
• is there mechanical going in the new Music room:' If so, please provide detail.
• Per IRC Section 314.3 Location, a stroke alarm is required outside each separate sleeping area in the ininaediate
vicinity of the bedrooms. If the Music room will be intended to be a bedroom at some paint, a smoke alarm will
need to be installed outside of this bedroom as well. w m') . (ax-
• According to calculations for the windows in both the Master Bedroom and Egress window in the basement,
neither are showing the 5 square feet compliance for grade floor or the 5.7 square feet for the emergency egress i
the basement. If you can provide detail on how they meet this compliance that might not be noted on the plans.
Cance these items are received, the plan review can commence. Please let the know if you have any questions or meed
additional information.
"Thanks,
MelissaMackey
