In accordance with the Building Division's document retention policy, the associated plans and/or other documents are scheduled for disposal. We are writing to offer you an opportunity to retrieve those approved plans and/or documents prior to their disposal by the Building Division. The plans and/or documents are available for retrieval for a period of 20 working days (4 weeks) from the date of this letter — December 21 — and must be retrieved in person at the Building Division offices. This letter must be presented at the time of retrieval of the plans and/or documents. Plans and/or documents available for retrieval CANNOT be mailed and plans and/or documents will NOT be available for retrieval after the expiration of the retrieval period. You may retrieve plans and/or documents between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Building Division offices located at 7500 W. 29th Avenue in Wheat Ridge. Rough edges will be visible from the front view with the Vignette faceplate - if not using the optional finishing trim. To maintain a clean finished edge - it is recommended to install the combustible facing material with the finished edge against the fireplace / nailing strips. Alternatively, you can use J Style Trim or Metal Comer Bead to cover cut edges of the non-combustible facing material. Combustible mantel clearances from top of unit are shown in the diagram below. Note: Mantel starts at *1"deep and ends at *12" deep. **For Vignette with Vignette Finishing Trim flush finish, all materials (framing & finishing) below the mantel and the width of the Vignette finishing trim, (37 1/2") must be non-combustible if a lower mantel is desired. Vlew P36 /P36E-10 Gas Fireplace FRAMING 1) Determine the total thickness of facing material (e.g. noncombustible plus ceramic tiles) to allow the finished surface to be flush with the front of the unit. Total facing thickness can vary from 1/2" (13mm) to 1-1/4" (32mm) thick with Vignette only, Vignette + Vignette Finishing Trim Stepped Finish and Safety Screen and Louvers.
