1) ALL PV ROOF ATTACHMENTS WILL BE SPACED ALONG MODULE RACKING RAILS AT NOT GREATER THAN 48" O.C.
2) ALL PV ROOF ATTACHMENTS WILL BE STAGGERED BY ROW AMONGST THE ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS, TO MAXIMUM EXTENT POSSIBLE.
3) ROOF PENETRATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH SOLAR RACKING WILL BE SEALED WITH AN APPROVED SEALANT.
4) NEMA 3R JUNCTION BOX WILL BE INSTALLED PER MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS. IT WILL BE FLASHED AND SEALED.
5) PV ARRAY WILL BE A MINIMUM OF 3" ABOVE THE COMPOSITE SHINGLE ROOF SURFACE.
6) THE RACKING SYSTEM AND SOLAR PV ARRAY WILL BE INSTALLED ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURER'S MANUAL INSTALLATION GUIDES.
7) MID CLAMPS REQUIRE A 3/8 INCH (3/8") SPACE BETWEEN PV MODULES. RAILS SHALL BE FLUSH WITH EDGE OF ARRAY. SOLAR CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE
FOR PROPER RAIL LENGTH AND INSTALLATION.

ELECTRICAL NOTES_
GENERAL -
1) ALL PV EQUIPMENT WILL BE TESTED AND LISTED FOR ITS USE BY A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED TESTING LABORATORY (NELL).
2) THE GROUNDING OF THE PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM SHALL COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE VERSION OF THE NEC/CEC.
3) ALL GROUNDING ELECTRODE CONDUCTORS WILL BE INSTALLED IN A CONTINUOUS LENGTH EXCEPT WHERE SPLICED BY AN IRREVERSIBLE CONNECTOR OR
EXOTHERMIC WELD.
4) NON-CURRENT CARRYING METAL PARTS SHALL BE CHECKED FOR PROPER GROUNDING, NOTING THAT TERMINAL LUGS BOLTED ON AN ENCLOSURE'S FINISHED
SURFACE MAY BE ELECTRICALLY INSULATED BECAUSE OF PAINT/FINISH. PAINT/FINISH AT POINT OF CONTACT SHALL BE PROPERLY REMOVED.
5) ROOF PENETRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED AND SEALED PER APPLICABLE CODE.
6) ALL CONDUCTORS WILL HAVE A 90-C RATING TO ENSURE CODE COMPLIANCE.
7) PV INVERTERS ARE TESTED AND LISTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH RAPID SHUTDOWN REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 690.12 OF THE 2017 NEC.

8) MODULE CERTIFICATIONS WILL INCLUDE JL1703, IEC61215, IEC61730.
9) CONDUIT AND CONDUCTOR SPECIFICATIONS ARE BASED ON MINIMUM CODE REQUIREMENTS.
10) RACEWAY POINT OF PENETRATION FROM EXTERIOR TO INTERIOR WILL BE SEALED TO PREVENT INGRESS OF WATER AND INSECTS.
11) MODULE AND MODULE LEVEL POWER ELECTRONICS WIRING SHALL BE LOCATED AND SECURED UNDER THE ARRAY USING SUITABLE WIRING CLIPS. WIRING
SHALL NOT MAKE CONTACT WITH THE ROOF SURFACE AND SHALL BE MANAGED IN A WORKMAN -LIKE MANNER.
12) EQUIPMENT GROUNDING CONDUCTORS WILL BE SIZED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NEC 250.122.

6. The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, anviolation of any provision of any
