HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes WA-98-13CERTIFICATE OF RESOLUTION I, Ann Lazzeri, Secretary to the City of Wheat Ridge Board of Adjustment, do hereby certify that the following Resolution was duly adopted in the City of Wheat Ridge, County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, on the 23rd day of April, 1998. CASE NO: WA-98-13 APPLICANT'S NAME; Jordan's Building Center LOCATION: 5000 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge, CO Upon a motion by Board Member HOVLAND and second by Board Member JUNKER, the following resolution was stated: WHEREAS, the applicant was denied permission by an administrative officer; and WHEREAS, Board of Adjustment application Case No. WA-98-13 is an appeal to this Board from the decision of an administrative officer; and WHEREAS, the property has been posted the required fifteen days by law and there were no protests registered against it; and WHEREAS, the relief applied for may be granted without detriment to the public welfare and without substantially impairing the intent and purpose of the regulations governing the City of Wheat Ridge. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Board of Adjustment Application Case No. WA-98-13 be, and hereby is, approved. TYPE OF VARIANCE: Request for a 25-foot front yard setback variance to the 50-foot setback requirement for the purpose of allowing a six-foot fence. FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: 1. Approval of this request does not adversely affect the public health, safety and welfare. 2. The applicant will provide complete landscaping of the area to enhance the essential character of the locality. The neighbor to the north agrees to the site plan modifications. Case No. WA-98-13/Board of Adjustment Resolution Page 2 WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1. That the letter of agreement be signed, notarized and recorded to verify the agreement. 2. That the letter of agreement be maintained in the future. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Board of Adjustment Application Case No. WA-98-13 be, and hereby is, approved. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0. VOTE: Yes: Echelmeyer, Howard, Hovland, Junker, Mauro and Thiessen No: None Absent: Abbott and Walker DISPOSITION: Request for a 25-foot front yard setback variance to the 50-foot setback requirement for the purpose of allowing a six-foot fence was approved. .
