The meeting was called to order by Chair BRINKMAN at 7:04 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers of the Municipal Building, 7500 West 29 Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Chair BRINKMAN stated the case may have to be continued as there are not enough
Planning Commission members to hear the case. A minimum of 5 members need to
be present to have a quorum. Ms. Reckert suggested the commission discuss other
business matters as another commissioner is expected to arrive.
Chair BRINKMAN stated other agenda items will be addressed to allow additional
time for the expected commissioner.
A. Ms. Reckert stated that having a quorum is critical for Planning Commissions
meetings in order to conduct formal business and hear land use cases. The quorum
requirement is 5 of 8 commissioners.
B. Ms. Reckert stated Wade Sanner; the new Planner I with the Community
Development Department will begin employment with the City on Monday, June 8 d .
Wade is relocating to Colorado with his family from the Kansas City area.
C. Ms. Reckert stated the next Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for June
20 Chair Brinkman asked if there were any upcoming study sessions. Ms. Reckert
stated the North West Transit Oriented Development Master Plan update is to be
reviewed in a study session.
E. Ms. Reckert stated Tim Paranto, Public Works Director has resigned. There are
seven candidates for the position.
