Even with this proposed change, the review processes for the plan amendments will still be administrative. With regard to the SDP and site plan amendment content, the format will be similar to what we did on the 1St amendment for the fa,ade modifications. Please include revised photometric sheets so the plans will be correct for the building permit plan set. I have attached both of the checklists for the SDP and site plan amendments. Fees will be $700 forthe site plan amendment and $925 forthe SDP amendment. Let me know if you have any comments. Two questions for you regarding Amendment 2: 1 1. Do you need us to include a photometric plan with the Amendment 2? It would seem that the photometric values will not change, but wanted to be sure 2. Please refer to attached PDFs. Would you be ok if we remove the pedestrian (sidewalk) connection in Tract G on the far west side of the site adjacent to the single family lot? Could we replace this with a more enhanced pedestrian connection in Tracts H and J? There are several reasons we would like to propose this modification: a. The revised building configuration makes the two pedestrian connections closer together and therefore redundant. b. The connection in Tracts H and J is more centrally located within the community, and would keep pedestrian traffic away from the single family home c. Tract G could be more effectively utilized for a landscaping buffer between the single family lot d. Tract G could be more effectively designed to accommodate grading and drainage in this area, and also to accommodate for snow storage at the end of the alley e. Tracts H and J are wider which allows the sidewalk to meander more, and will provide more visual interest Let me know your thoughts when you get a chance.
