Mr. ROMrt Blau, 650 MOnACO Parkway, Denver, Colorado, President of the Quarter Midgets Association, to-
.ether with Mr. Jack Peachey, 471 South Eliot Street. Denver, Colorado, President of the Half Midget Racing
A.~iation. appeared before the Board. Mr. Blau requested the use of the track during the off-season racing
',r th.. purpose of allowing new drivers to practice and test their racers. Mr. Peachey reported that since he
had been notified of the complaints on the noise of their racers he had made each of his drivers put on mufflers
&ad wa. tryiDg in every way to comply with the request to omit the noise. He submitted petitions from per sons
widIiD the county who request the Commissioners to honor the lease between the County and the Rocky Mountain
Oaal'ter Midlet Racing Association and the Half Midget Racing Association.
Commissioner Lewis moved that this be taken under advisement so that the Commissioners could study it and
retuna an an.wer during the week. Seconded by Commissioner Bauer and passed unanimously.
After the motion was adopted. it was decided that Mr. Fletcher Wood, Fairgrounds Director, should call the
Fair,round. Board and request a meeting for the purpose of discussing the foregoing midgets and working some-

BE IT RESOLVED that the Agreement presented to this Board by the County Attorney from Park County relating
to the diridingline between the two counties, Park and Jefferson, is hereby approved and accepted and signatures.

retunaed to this Board after proper signing and acceptance by Park County officials, at which time the Secretary

Upc"l motion of Commissioner Lewis, second by Commissioner Bauer and by unanimous vote the following reso-
lution was adopted with all three Commissioners voting "Aye".
BE IT RESOlY ED that it is the desire of this Board to give Commissioner Bauer additional time to study the tes-
tilnony given at the hearing regarding Carl Smith's Change of Location application and the testimony given at that
time in reprd to the application of David Samuel Weinstock, and for the purpose of discussing technicalities with
the County Attomey. therefore the new application of David Samuel Weinstock dba Jug House, 9138 West 6th Ave-
_e, is hereby taken under advisement for one week to November 5, 1961, at 9:00 A. M.
