TITLE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 207, SERIES OF 1976,
SECTION I, MERIT AND CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATIONS,
DELETING A PORTION THEREOF AND ADDING AN ADDITIONAL JOB
CLASSIFICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO THAT:
Section I. Ordinance 207, Series of 1976, is hereby amended by
deleting the following pay grades, classification titles and pay
ranges:

Ordinance 207, Series of 1976, is hereby amended by
adding the following pay grades, classification titles and pay ranges:

Section III. All remaining pay grades, classification titles and
pay grades within Ordinance 207, Series of 1976, shall remain unchanged
and in full force and effect.
Section IV. Severability Clause
If any clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this ordinance or
the application thereof to any person or circumstances shall for any
reason be adjudged by a court of competent jurisdiction invalid, such
judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of this
ordinance or its application to other persons or circumstances.
ORDINANCE 218
Section V. Emergency Clause for this Ordinance.
The provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the preser-
vation of the public health and safety of the citizens of Wheat
Ridge for the following reasons:
1. The additions and changes are necessary to provide proper rela-
tionships within the salary ordinance.
2. The additions and deletions of the positions are necessary to
conform to City Council action.
Section VI. Effective Date for this Ordinance.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately
after publication following final passage providing it shall have
been passed by an affirmative vote of three-fourths (3/4) of the
members of the City Council and has been approved by the Mayor of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Otherwise, said Ordinance shall take effect
thirty (30) days after publication following final passage.
