--E AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 13 BY ADDING
OPERATORS AND IMPOSING A TAN ON SAID
BE 11' ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT
RIDGE, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 13 is herebv
amended to include the following classification of operator:
Class T Operator: All operators selling
malt, vinous or spirituous liquors by the
drink only to customers for consumption
on the premises, and such operator shall
have available for consumption on the
premises during business hours sandwiches
and light snacks, but he need not have
meals available for consumption.
Section z. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 13 is hereby
amended to include the following occupation tax:
For all Class T Operators the sum of $10nD.0o (One rhnusand
Dollars)
Section 3. All other Sections or Ordinance No. 13 shall
remain in full force and effect and all duties, obligations,
penalties and violations relating to Class T operator shall
be governed by the provisions of Ordinance No. 13.
Section 4. Emergency Clause. The provisions of this
Ordinance are necessary for the preservation of the health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of wheat Ridge, Colorado,
for the following reasons:
a. The operators who qualify for a Class T license
must comply and pay the tax levy by January 1, 1977.
b. That sufficient time must be allotted to the
operators for this purpose.
C. That it is necessary for this Ordinance to
take effect as soon as possible.
Section 5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days after publication
following final passage.
