ORDINANCE NO. 264

TITLE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 28.23(a) OF APPENDIX A.
ZONING ORDINANCE, OF THE CODE OF LAWS OF THE CITY OF
WHEAT RIDGE, AS ADOPTED AND PASSED IN 1976, AS AMENDED, WHICH
SECTION PERTAINS TO THE DEFINITION OF "LANDSCAPING."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. The existing Section 28.23(a) of Appendix A is
deleted and is replaced as follows:
(a) Landscaping. Any combination of living
plants such as trees, shrubs, vines, ground cover,
flowers, sod; and may include natural features such
as rock, stone and bark; and structural features,
including, but not limited to, fountains, reflecting
pools, art works, screen walls, fences and benches.
Non-living and non-absorbent ground cover material shall cover
no more than twenty percent (20°0') of landscaped area.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect
thirty (30) days after publication following final passage.
