ORDINANCE NO. 275
Series of 1978
TITLE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 16-3 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO, REGARDING THE APPLICABILITY OF THE
PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. Section 16-3 of the Code of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 16-3. Applicability of Rules and Regulations.
The Rules and Regulations shall apply to all officers and
employees of the City, except:
~1) Elected officers.
2) Department Heads.
(3) City Administrator.
(4) Municipal Court Judges.
(5) Those employees covered under the City's Civil Service System.
(6) Organizations and their employees, and other persons who are
engaged by the City on a contractual basis.
(7) Persons who in terms of emergency may be appointed special
employees for service not to exceed sixty (60) working days
in duration.
(8) Court Bailiff.
Section 2. Effective Date of this Ordinance. This Ordinance shall be retro-
active in effect to March 13, 1978.

on this 3rd day of April , 1978; ORDERED PUBLISHED in full in the Wheat
Ridge Sentinel; and PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION ON FINAL PASSAGE set for
April 17 , 1978, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., at Council Chambers, Anderson
Building, 4355 Field Street, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
READ, ADOPTED, AND ORDERED PUBLISHED on second and final reading by a vote of
6 to 0 , this 17th day of April , 1978,
