ORDINANCE NO. 300
Series of 1978
TITLE: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION BY CITY COUNCIL OF SIX QUARTER
SECTION ZONING MAPS AS THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAPS OF THE CITY OF WHEAT
RIDGE, COLORADO; AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE FUTURE UPDATING OF THESE MAPS
PERIODICALLY TO INDICATE THE ZONING CHANGES APPROVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. Upon application of the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, for adoption of six quarter section zoning maps as the official zoning
maps of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and upon recommendation for approval
from the Wheat Ridge Planning Commission, and pursuant to findings made based
upon testimony and evidence presented at public hearing before the Wheat Ridge
City Council that whereas the City is converting to new zoning maps of scale one
inch equals one hundred feet (1" = 100') to improve the accuracy of said maps;
and whereas no significant changes in the boundaries of the existing districts
(changes of ten feet or less) were necessary on the six maps listed below, the
following six quarter section maps, all located in Township 3 South, Range 69
West, are hereby adopted as the official zoning maps of the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado:
(a) Section 16, NW 1/4
(b) Section 16, NE 1/4
(c) Section 26, NW 1/4
(d) Section 26, SW 1/4
(e) Section 29, SW 1/4
(f) Section 29, SE 1/4
Section 2. The Department of Community Development of the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, shall have the authority and responsibility to update these maps
periodically to indicate the zoning changes approved at future public hearings
by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect
