TITLE:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18-40, CONTRIBUTION
LIMIT ON CITY, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO:
Section 1. Section 18-40 of the Code of the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 18-40. Contribution Limit on Ci
The City Council hereby finds and determines that the City
should use the power granted to it under Section 31-30-804
(8)(a) of the 1973 Colorado Revised Statutes, as amended,
and does hereby elect to pay from the general funds of the
City into the Policeman's Pension Fund created hereby a sum
monthly as shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the monthly
salaries of all full-time paid, sworn police officers of the
Police Department of the City, and all Police Dispatchers hired
prior to January 1, 1979.
The City Council shall be empowered with the authority to
establish on a yearly basis the specific annual amount to
be paid from the general fund of the City into the Policeman's
Pension Fund.
Section 2. Effective date. This ordinance shall take effect
January 1, 1979.

in the City of Wheat R' 4_dge and Public Hearing and consideration
on final passage set for December 18 , 1978, at

Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

reading by a vote of 6 to 0 this 18th day of
