Colorado. wntten petItIOn for annexation to and by the CIty of Wheat RIdge. Colorado. of that property described In attached Exhibit A, being contIguous unincorporated tern tory contiguous to the CIty and situated, lYing and bel11g m the County of JetTerson, State of Colorado (the Property), and WHEREAS. the Property IS further descnbed on the AnnexatIon Map attached hereto as ExhibIt B. and WHEREAS, the owners of more than fifty percent (50%) of the Property havc petItioned for mmexatlOn. and WHEREAS. the CIty Councr! of the CIty of Wheat RIdge. Colorado. has conducted a pubhc heanng as reqUlrcd by law to determinc the ehgibiIity for annexation of the Property. and WHEREAS. the CIty Councr! ofthc CIty of Wheat RIdge. Colorado. has satIsfied Itself concernIng the ehgiblhty for annexatIon of the Property. and concernmg the conformance of the proposed annexation to the apphcabIc law and the annexatIOn pohcy of the CIty of Wheat RIdge. Colorado BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE. COLORADO Section 1. The annexation to the CIty of Wheat RIdge, Colorado. of that Property described In attached ExhibIt A. sItuated. lymg and being in the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, meets all reqUIrements of law and the annexatIOn pohcy of the CIty of Wheat RIdge. and, therefore, IS hereby approved and made effectIve, Section 2. ReZOnIng of the Property shall be completed SImultaneously wIth the annexatwn of the Property pursuant to the Home Rule Charter and Code of Ordll1ances of the City of Wheat RIdge Section 3.
