RESOLUTION NO. 109
SERIES OF 1971
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE:
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge is interested in
constructing a storm sewer which will serve an approximate area
bounded by Lutheran Hospital and Otis Street; the Rocky Mountain
Ditch, and 38th Avenue.
WHEREAS, said storm sewer system is necessary for the
health and welfare of the citizens of the City of Wheat Ridge,
WHEREAS, the construction of the storm sewer serving such
a vast area will neccesitate extensive engineering design and super-
vision, which is unavailable to the City through its salaried personnel.
WHEREAS, money is available from the annual 1971 budget
and appropriations to permit the retaining of proper engineering
services for the design and supervision of construction of said
storm sewer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The City Council of
the City of Wheat Ridge does hereby accept and approve the proposal
submitted by the McCall-Ellingson Engineering firm to the City of
Wheat Ridge, on the date of February 16, 1971, and directs the City
Attorney to prepare a contract running between the McCall-Ellingson
Engineering Firm and the City of Wheat Ridge, a Municipal Corporation,
which incorporates the terms set forth in that proposal dated February
16, 1971. Be it further resolved that: the Mayor of the City of
Wheat Ridge, is hereby directed to execute the contract on completion.
