l'ill"EREAS, It ilas been determlned to be in the best
interests of the taxpayers and employees of the City of
Wheat Ridge, to provide for the retirement of employees,
excluding Firemen and Policemen, under certain terms and
conditions; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge nas previously
electel to become a part of the Colorado County Officials
anl Employees Retirement Association established in accor-
dance with fitle 24, ~rticle 51, Colorado Revised Statutes,
1973, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a retlrcment plan has been adopted by
the Governing Board of said association and ratified by the
inJiviJaal members of the Association with said Retirement
Plan's effectlve date being July 1, 19680
;iJ'V TdI:REFO,ZE, :01: IT RESOLVED:
1. i'he Coullcil of the City of II/heat Ridge
hereby elects to fund the ~unicipal portion of contribu-
tions on benalf of those employees who are participants
under the Plan at the annual rate of 4% percent of
said employees' co~pensation.
2. The COlfficil of Wheat
to Lmd for 4 months for prlor
employees at the annual rate of
funding to be accomplished within

the plan, the United Bank of Denver.
