HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1977-0515 INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN ~1ERKL RESOLUTION NO. 515 Series of 1977 TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THE PETERSON/RETALLACK PROPERTY LOCATED AT 7490 W. 29th Ave., IN WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO, TOGETHER WITH ALL IMPROVEMENTS THEREON, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS. IfHEREAS, the City Council of Wheat Ridge has previously authorized the purchase of the Peterson/Retallack property located at 7490 West 29th Avenue, consisting of approximately 2.114 acres, plus improvements, by Reso- lution No. 506, from the City's allocation of County Open Space funds; and WHEREAS, a professional appraisal report has been obtained on this property; and WHEREAS, the property includes a one-story single family residence and detached garage which are not eligible for purchase from County Open Space funds, and which have an appraised value of $25,500; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge that the purchase of the Peterson/Retallack property at 7490 W. 29th Ave. be hereby authorized from County Open Space funds at the appraised value; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that $25,500 is hereby authorized to be expended from City funds as reimbursement to the County Open Space fund representing the value of the non-eligible one-story single family residence and detached garage structures located on the property; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $25,500 be disbursed from the City's Capital Improvements fund pursuant to Resolution; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to proceed immediately to conclude this purchase under the terms and conditions indicated in this Resolution.
