HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1980-0718 INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER t'1ERKL RESOLUTION NO. 718 Series of 1980 TITLE: RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET AND ESTABLISH A MILL LEVY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DERIVING PROPERTY TAX REVENUES TO THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981 WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal year 1981 has been established and Public Hearings and Meetings have been held, after duly published public notices; and WHEREAS, the Budget provides for revenues and operating and capital expenditures in the total amount of $10,461,821, which includes the following funds: 1. Genera 1 Fund $ 6,374,243 Mayor . City Council. City Clerk. City Treasurer. Mun i ci pa 1 Court City Administrator. City Attorney . . . Administrative Services Community Development Police. . . . Public Works. Parks and Recreation. Reserve Accounts General Operations. Carnation Festival. Senior Center Fund 2,000 WHEREAS, $432,000 of the General Fund Budget is estimated to be derived from ad valorem property taxes and the balance derived from other estimated revenue sources; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: A. The City of Wheat Ridge total Budget as stated in this Resolution be hereby approved and adopted for the fiscal period beginning January 1, 1981, and ending December 31, 1981. B. The property tax mill levy for General Fund operating purposes is hereby established at 3.50 mills and assessed against all real property located within the City of Wheat Ridge for property taxes to be collected in 1981 for the valuation year 1980.
