RESOLUT ION NO. 1028

T IHE:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT ENTITLED REQUEST FOR
PAYMENT AND CERTIFICATION OF USE OF FUNDS FOR THE
IRRIGATION SYSTEM--PANORAMA PARK.
WHEREAS, the Citizens of Jefferson County passed an
Open Space Resolution on November 7, 1972; and
WHEREAS, the citizens amended said Resolution on
November 4, 1980 to allow for maintenance and development of Open
Space lands and property; and
WHEREAS, The Yerkey Company has been awarded the bid
for installation of the Irrigation system for Panorama Park
Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033 in the amount of $35,652.00; and
\'IHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Wheat Ridge to enter into the Intergovernmental Agreement which
Is attached to this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of the
City of Wheat Ridge authorizes the City of Wheat Ridge, by
Resolution, to enter into Intergovernmental Agreements.
NOI'I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for
the City of Wheat Ridge, that the Intergovernmental Agreement
entitled Request for Payment and Certification of Use of Funds,
attached to this Resolution be approved, and the Mayor be
authorized to sign said Intergovermental Agreement.
